      Description

      Broadcom will release a snapshot of the Maple/BAL 2.4 release to docSafe. This release needs to be ported to ASFvOLT16 hardware by Edge-core and distributed to ASFvOLT16 OLT users.

      Acceptance criteria:

      • Broadcom released Maple/BAL 2.4 package is available in docSafe and accessible by parties under NDA/SLA with Broadcom.
      • Edge-core has ported this version to ASFvOLT16.
      • Edge-core has performed basic functional checks for Maple/Qumran operation.
      • Edge-core has ensure that Broadcom 'bcm_sdn_agent' is functional and demonstrates BAL framework is working.
      • Edge-core provides a build sample for Broadcom-supplied BAL API client sample application.
