Currently the ONU adapter reconciles all the data with the ONT after ONU adapter goes for a restart. With this approcah on a scale there will be spike in ONU adapter during the reconcile process. and if a stack is handling 5k ONTs , then all ONTs going for reconcile is not an ideal situation.
We believe we can skip the reconcile with the ONTs and as part of reconcile , we build the internal structures required and load up what had been conigured earlier for the ONT. onu adapter going to ONT to reconcile would not be required.
We can maintain a flag to allow reconcile only with existing data or to go to ONT and reconcile.
