      Description

      Should be helpful to have a configurable request-response delay (0ms up to some seconds??) on BBSIM.

      That would allow for a more practical testing of real ONU behavior.

      The minimum requirement would be to have this configuration for the ONU SW upgrade related 'dowload section' activity. That could provide means of testing and measuring the SW upgrade with a more practical background.
