Multiple simultaneous Adapter registration for the same adapter causes adapter data override.

With simultaneous Adapter Registration requests (for the same adapter), I saw a race condition which could lead to one registration request overriding the Adapter data type to "" leading to failure to enable the ONU device. During an Adapter registration the lock is not applied for the entire duration of the request leading to potential override of the data. This is a corner case but still needs to be fixed to cover situations where an Adapter is spinning.
