Epic Link:
There are different kinds of controllers (deployment, replicaset, replication controller, daemonset, Job etc) and we likely will be using all of them for different purposes in XOS. But we do not yet have a clear controller pattern we can use to manage stateful (e.g. services associated with a subscriber) services. Need to list out what we need for this sort of controller pattern and how we go about implementing a controller pattern. The implementation choices for now are are:
- A K8S service per subscriber with XOS managing state.
- A custom controller
- A spinnetti like controller pattern
- In XOS itself where XOS is both the state manager and controller
