      Description

      The protos require some cleanups:
      1) There are artefacts that are not used (e.g. READ_ONLY attributes). These can easily be removed.
      2) Some protos definitions are in multiple files when it makes more sense to be in one file. This could bring backward compatibility in question. Those changes need to be agreed by the TST.
