      Description

      https://jenkins.opencord.org/job/verify_voltha-helm-charts_sanity-test/506 should have failed but it didn't as the pipeline isn't using the changes in the patch but the upstream patch.

      To replicate:

      • start VOLTHA without a running Kafka
      • start a KAFKA cluster

      Expected behavior: VOLTHA connects to kafka
      Observed behavior: VOLTHA does not retry to connect
